Dr. Padmini, Former Executive Trustee and has experience of working with UNICCEF for about 25 years in various capacities and is passionately involved in CRC-Convention on the Rights of the Children drafting, implementation and monitoring activities. After retiring from UNICEF she had involved in training and advocacy for child rights in India and abroad. She has expertise in terms of analyzing the policies, coordinating state plans of action and has contributed in the national plan of action for child. She has lead the training team in several district level CRC sensitizing and planning programmes.

Dr.Padmini has served UNICEF at Ethiopia, India and at global level and is aconsultant to several national and international organisations.Dr.Padmini was one among the representatives from India at the time of presenting the alternative reports 2003 on the implementation of child rights to the UN Committee on Child Rights Dr.Padmini is one of the key members of IACR-India Alliance for Child Rights, and CRT is the Southern Chapter of IACR.
