Belagavi

As part of the larger IMAGE – Initiatives for Married Adolescent Girls Empowerment with CIF and TdH NL I was at Belagavi to conduct a TOT for the Champions under the programme.  Around 50 Champions from five districts (Bagalakote, Belagavi, Bidar, Chikkaballapura and Chamarajanagara) along with the field coordinators attended the TOT on mental health interventions.  

As per the design of the programme, I am working on the training material for the Champions to be used in their groups. This is going to be eight modules for one +̇ eight sessions with the EMGs (Early Married Girls) in various locations of the five districts. 

After a brainstorming and training session held at NIMHANS, I took up this assignment of developing eight modules (one hour to eighty minutes for each)̤̤  Again with with extensive readiņg reviewing and referring to various material and also the material developed by the colleagues, I have finalised eight modules initially. In the last one month Mr̤ Nagasimha has developed a play on “Mental Health Day” and descriptions on the areas for detailing under mental health̤
